What can you expect at Mesquite United Methodist Church on Sunday morning?
Worship in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. includes a children’s message, musical offerings, scripture readings, and a meaningful sermon. After the service, join us in the fellowship hall for coffee, juice, treats and fellowship. There are exciting Bible stories and projects for children who are dismissed to their classrooms following children’s sermon at Sunday worship services.
How often do we have communion? Who is welcome to participate?
We serve communion once a month. We believe that all who seek a relationship with Jesus are welcome to participate, regardless of whether or not you are a member of Mesquite United Methodist Church. Children are welcome to come forward with their parents.
How should I dress?
Our Church is a “come as you are” church. Jeans or ties are equally welcomed.
What’s available for my children?
We welcome all children at Church. Children’s programs and special events occur throughout the year. Our goal is to help every child learn about God’s love for them. Caring and trained staff will help your child feel welcome and safe. Children are welcome in worship and may stay with parents or leave after the children’s message. Sunday School is for ages 3 through 6th grade. Questions about the Children’s Ministry Program should be directed to our church office.
What if I need to talk or pray with someone?
Whether it’s grief, unemployment, relationship difficulties or a feeling of spiritual dissatisfaction, we are willing to listen and pray with you, and journey through joys and life’s difficult moments with you. Pastors can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the church office. Our Congregational Care Team is also available for you.
