Monthly Planning Meetings
At the monthly meeting, the activities of the group are discussed, new projects are considered, plans are made, and business is conducted. At least twice yearly, a luncheon meeting is scheduled with a brief business meeting and a great deal of fellowship. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. Lydia Circle
This fellowship group meets the second Tuesday of each month in the morning for coffee or for lunch, often in a member’s home. It provides a time for personal sharing, devotions, fellowship, and prayer. Contact Barb or Sue C. through the Church at 702-346-4663.
Prayer Shawl Ministry Circle
Participants in this informal circle knit or crochet prayer shawls, lap robes, hats, scares, and other comforting items. Yarn, supplies, and assistance are provided. This group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at the home of Nancy Mae. Contact her or Sue C. through the Church at 702-346-4663.
Reading Program Circle
This circle maintains a selection of books on a variety of issues that are pertinent in today’s world. The books are housed in a special section of the church’s library. Anyone is welcome to check out these books.
Community Sewing Group
This circle is a service group whose mission is to make items as needed to be distributed within the community. This group welcomes any member of the community to join with us on numerous service projects. Contact Doris or Sue C. through the Church at 702-346-4663.
Card Ministry
This circle sends a monthly card to a resident at Mesa Valley Estates Assisted Living along with special birthday and holiday wishes. Also, a “treat” or small gift occasionally! Contact Doris or Sue C. through the Church at 702-346-4663.
